LTZ Academy is Coming to Woodseats Sheffield

LTZ Training Academy is expanding into Woodseats, Sheffield, creating another location for aspiring and experienced barbers to develop their skills within a working commercial barbershop.

The expansion builds on our commitment to developing people through education, practical experience and career opportunities, making barber training more accessible across Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

Practical learning in a professional environment

Barbering takes more than technical knowledge. It requires confidence, sound judgement, effective consultation and an understanding of each client’s needs.

At Woodseats, learners will develop these abilities through demonstrations, practical coaching and experience within a professional barbering environment. Our approach connects learning with the everyday expectations of working in the industry, from delivering a haircut to building lasting client relationships.

Understanding your training options

LTZ Training Academy directly delivers private, self-funded barber training, including foundation learning, individual coaching and specialist skills development. These programmes are separate from apprenticeship and regulated qualification routes. The content, duration, cost and certificate awarded will be explained before booking.

Apprenticeships and regulated qualifications are delivered through our partnership with Achievement Training & Skills Ltd (ATS), the responsible training provider. ATS oversees enrolment, assessment, quality assurance and, where applicable, apprenticeship funding and compliance. LTZ provides the commercial barbershop environment and practical industry support, with appropriately qualified staff working within the agreed ATS delivery framework.

As the Woodseats provision develops, we will confirm which programmes are available at this location, their start dates and entry requirements. Apprenticeship funding is subject to learner, employer and programme eligibility.
